Dan liked to wear black and look at the stars. He always wore a frown, reflecting his loneliness. Phil liked to wear pastel colours and pick flowers. He always smiled, showing that he was ready to brighten anyone's day. They were almost opposites... yet they were meant to be best friends. TW: Bullying.

Dan was a teenage boy who was a bit awkward and not the most popular person. He was happy, but not the happiest he could be. That was until he was told about a certain YouTuber who changes his life forever. A FICTIONAL story of how Phan became what it is today. This is a safe Phan fiction with no triggers (although if anyone disagrees be sure to let me know).

Dan Howell is an insomniac....who's scared of the dark. Only a little bit. One late night (or early morning), he decides to venture out and explore London at its quietest. He meets Phil Lester at an all-night coffee shop, and the two quickly become friends. As the friendship continues to grow, Dan has to begin facing his issues, and his feelings for Phil.

" Or the story of an overenthusiastic boy called Phil, who has trouble shutting up, and a reluctantly mute boy called Dan, who's life is falling apart, and how they both come to realise that sometimes - actions can speak louder than words.

TRIGGER WARNING. THIS STORY CONTAINS MENTIONS OF RAPE, SELF INJURY, DEATH AND ATTEMPTED SUICIDE. Can Dan save Phil? Phil is suicidal and Dan is the only one who's there for him. Can he alone save Phil?

COMPLETE: First I will state this is a sequel to Summer Camp (I'm sure you already know since that is the title). I know it's been four months, or something stupid like that, but it's time! WRITTEN 2014. (I have since gone through and attempted to improve on this).
