Who had immersed himself in a sweet illusion, gradually letting down his barriers? Who had buried his feelings, and hid his identity for fear of being found out? Who had wanted to build a Sect that did not value blood ties, described as the bright moon and gentle breeze? Who had saved the young man who was injured, living with him for over three years? Who had pretended she was blind? Who had witnessed the tragedies through her gray eyes? Who in the end, had lost everything? AN: I am a big fan of the book, Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation, reading the novel, the manhua, watching the donghua, and currently watching the live action version of this amazing story. As I went through everything, in the end, I felt the greatest sympathy for Xue Yáng, Xiao Xingchen, and A-Qíng. Xue Yáng remains one of the character whom I just couldn't hate even if I tried to. Because their real story is so tragic, I decided to write my own version of how their story could've gone, or how I wish it could've gone. The BL pairing I have in this book may not be the same as yours, because I am going to pair Xue Yáng and Xiao Xingchen together. Although the couple is Xue Yáng and Xiao Xingchen, a big part of this book will focus on A-Qíng and her life when she is now older, and it will focus on some other events in the book too. I know that a lot of people pair Xiao Xingchen and Song Zichen together, but because this is my own work, I took it a different route. FYI You do not have to read Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation before reading this book but I will recommend it if you want to understand this book better.

Due to his utterly unhinged twin sister, Lu Yan's peaceful life came to a very unreasonable end. Not only did he die from a reader's curse meant for someone else- he also woke up bound to a suspicious system named Ah Bao, who happily informed him: "Congratulations, Host! You are now part of the Pitholes Filling System!" Lu Yan: "...That sounds fake." Ah Bao: "It's not." Lu Yan: "...I want a refund." Now forced to travel across worlds, Lu Yan has one simple job: ✔ Fix plot holes ✔ Protect the protagonist ✔ And when necessary- ✔ Die for him Lu Yan: "...I regret everything." But things quickly go off track. Because in every world, there's always that one man- Dangerous. Unreasonably persistent. Suspiciously familiar. And no matter how hard Lu Yan tries to avoid him- He always ends up being found. "Why are you here again?" "I was nearby." "You live across the city." "I walked." "...That's not normal." Worse- The closer Lu Yan gets, the more things start to feel... wrong. Strange memories. Unfamiliar emotions. A lingering sense of déjà vu he can't explain. Why does his heart ache for someone he just met? Why does fear feel mixed with something he can't name? And why- Does it feel like he's the one who betrayed him? As the worlds unfold, so does the truth: Some stories aren't broken. Some fates were never meant to be rewritten. And some connections- Were never truly severed. "Don't run." "...Why does that sound like a threat?"
