Owning a cafe that is frequented by many, heroes and civilians alike, isn't easy, but Midoriya didn't really mind. He had two kids to take care of, found many friends in the resident teachers and the resident explosive pomeranian. But the boy is tangled up in things that most heroes wouldn't even want to go near.

What if Bakugou was misunderstanding something this entire time. What if Izuku wasn't interested in the whole heroes and villains thing that society projected and wrapped itself around. What if Izuku found a book in a library as a child that introduced him to a whole new world. A beautiful, intricate, enticing world about life. Because even though not all men are born equal, they will always have the opportunity to improve and live their lives fully.

Midoriya is a quirkless vigilante who has ties with Death. Yes, you read correctly, the overseer of darkness himself. A.k.a, 15 year old Midoriya Izuku has a simple life, working at a bookstore with friends. Sure, since his Mum died his emotions had been all over the place but he has his best friend Hitoshi and two morons at the book store to keep him company. Life couldn't be simpler. He has his secrets, but everyone has secrets, his are just more... interesting. Though chucking in the fact he's a Hacker. And that he is well-known vigilant known as Twist. He's best-friends with Aizawa Shota hero name Eraserhead. (Though Zawa would never admit it) He's pretty good with a throwing knife if he does say so himself. And you know other normal stuff... But knowing him, he'll gain a few more 'normal secrets' and you'll see life always has an In Between, sometimes more ways than one. Oh, And did he mention? Deku is out one night training. Being a young teen he gets hungry and decides to go get some food, but he journey is cut short by a kids quirk gone haywire. Next thing you know Deku is a small green kitten left to fend for himself. Until someone unexpected picks him up.... This is my fist book idk how it's gonna go I'm just gonna wing it tbh :)

Au where Deku's father was abusive until he left him and his mother Inko when Deku was 13. Inko became an alcoholic and was a severely homophobic mother to the point where she would beat Deku for hours when she felt like it. Aizawa starts noticing that his freckled student kept on coming to school with more and more bruises everyday. He and Present Mic had already adopted Shinsou since his parents had died in a car crash that year. One week, Midoriya's mother had stopped feeding him and if he tried to eat something he would get locked in his room and beaten. On Friday the fatigue, abuse and malnourishment finally got to him and he passed out during hero training.
