This is a modern times au where Korra isn't famous but Asami is because she is still rich, and there is no bending. Korra is a traveller will little money, so she can only travel around republic city, which is fine but lonely when you have no friends because you are poor. Asami is engineer with lots of money from her father so she can do what ever she wants with that talent, which is but lonely when you have no friends because you are rich. Korra, Mako, Bolin, and Asami are all in college.  Korra, Mako, and Bolin are on the College's MMA team the Fire Ferrets, but Mako won't be able to fight if he doesn't get his grades up. He's being tutored, and tries to keep it up.  Mako's tutor, and Korra's relationship quickly grow after giving each other's thanks, but more problems arise, and Korra becomes confused within herself.

Flashbacks of the past cloud Korra's vision. They cloud her mind. And what happened shaped her life.
