Paul can’t remember anything from his past, so John explains it to him through reading the story of their life together.

Modern AU McLennon: Dr. John W. Lennon is a medical attending at Sgt. Pepper's Hospital. He's a very experienced doctor who teaches interns and residents daily, but Dr. Lennon is short fused, easily annoyed and has a hard time dealing with his colleges. He just wants to help his patients. Dr. James P. McCartney (who prefers Paul) was just hired as a medical resident at Sgt. Pepper's after his internship at a different hospital. Paul throws Dr. Lennon off with his immense knowledge and ability as a young doctor, and confuses him with his flirtatious personality. I got this idea while watching the television show Scrubs. so I'm going to use that for a lot of reference for medical stuff and online research. We'll say John is about 26 and Paul is 23.

Paul had always looked up to the most intimidating teddy boy in town, John Lennon. They were best friends, band mates, and maybe even a little more in time. When John is grieving over Julia's death, Paul realizes that maybe there's another side to him, a softer side. All he wants to do is help, but will this lead to more problems for the both of them?

Everything John has experienced with Paul, from their meeting to their first kiss to their devastating split is written in this bedtime story, one that John might never be brave enough to tell Sean.
