I always imagined that meeting the person I'd spend the rest of my life with would be something special, I'd see the spark in his eyes, feel butterflies in my stomach, I'd just know that he was the one. I imagined him being my Prince Charming who'd sweep me off my feet whispering sweet nothings into my ear every so often. Seeing him would bring a joy that I couldn't describe. We'd fall in love and the world would completely stand still. Then you came along and suddenly all that didn't matter to me. Time didn't stop when we were together, it went into warp speed and instead of telling me how much you loved me, you showed me. Then I met you.

If you want to heal, you need to trust the person doing the healing. But trusting someone is harder than it sounds, especially when you've been broken before . . .
