Jesse has gone to Rob for consolation, not realising he's been the one driving Rob and Sjoerd apart. Rob comforts him, not knowing he's the reason of their fights. What will they do when they found out? How could they possibly be together, if this was the reason for their past relationships to fail?

Jesse is a politician. He lives in The Hague and is party leader of GreenLeft. His passion is doing something about climate-change and that is also what his party is about. Jesse struggles with his sexuality. Rob moved to a new house in The Hague. He first lived in Nijmegen but moving to this city made it so much easier for him to get to work. Rob is openly gay and regularly has men checking out his bedroom ;) Rob and Jesse both work for the government. They're colleagues from eachother. They have a really sweet bond with eachother and regularly get coffee or lunch together. But what if they secretly fall in love with eachother and feelings get out of hand.......

It was all just a game, the smiles, the looks, the flirt, but what happen when the #resse becomes a world wide trend on Tik Tok? When they realise that, maybe, there are feelings underneath? But Jesse is married, Rob lives with his boyfriend, they are happy, or so it seems. Will they act on it? Or would it be just a huge mistake? Can they find a little bit peace and happiness in the secrecy of an affair? Mostly a sad slowburn for a mature audience. Includes sex, a lot of power play dynamics, and trying to deal with doing mistakes as adults. Will have a sequel with (hopefully) a happy ending.

But, the pressures of Rob's job as a politician leave him blind to Jesse's affections and Jesse outs his affection elsewhere to make Rob jealous. Finally, when cowardly politician, Thierry Baudet, threatens to come between them, Rob has to act fast. But will they ever find the hot love that they deserve?
