Inspired by my time and travels in Nicaragua, in the lingering aftermath of the Sandinista revolution. Unlike some of my other works of theatre, this one was never staged or published - the large cast, ambitious staging, and musical accompaniment all proved beyond my means at the time. I just couldn't imagine having to be in the games again, and the worst part was that this time one of us had to die. That's what I was most worried about right now. I didn't want Peeta to die, because he was my friend and a really good person. The one that deserved to die was me. I was a fool and didn't even cared about anything but surviving.
