For the love of art

"Heres the thing. I'm a straight-A student, hard-working tennis player, and loving girlfriend. Ever since I was little, I vowed to focus on what was really important, and what will really get you far in life. I made myself believe that was really it. That I don't need anything else, I don't want anyone else, and I certainly don't need anyone's help. But I've stared to realize something, and the truth is there will come a time in your life when you think you have it figured out. But something or someone will come along, and show you how incredibly wrong you were. I was afraid to let go, to have to choose between something. But if there's one thing I've learned, it's that sooner or later, you're going to need to choose what your life is all about. And my answer? Well, I never would've guessed it. But then you showed me how to choose my heart. And my answer is, I choose you. Everything I need and love, it's all about you.

Love - what does that word mean, what does it comprise? Do we always recognise it when faced with it? Do we value it when we ought to do so? Do we squander it when it is too easily given? Do we ever understand until it has left us and we are left to question - why? Why? Why? Does it ever leave us entirely - I don't believe so. Love is eternal, love bears all wrongs, love gives of itself until it has nothing more left to give and then..... love immolates and is..........gone. But then, what would I know?
