What was I then? For that, I had no answer [[Word count: 495,000]] Copyright August 2016. All Rights Reserved. Readers may not copy, alter, or steal this story. Long ago, the land of Faerie was split into four kingdoms. Nature, Power, Life and Death. These four kingdoms lived in peace and harmony as they blossomed. They traded and exchanged resources. The kingdoms grew thanks to each other and the people lived in peace. Nature helped the land to grow which aided Power in their bid for magic, minerals and new materials. Power aided Life in growing and building up a kingdom which prospered. And life aided them both in love, children and happiness. The only kingdom which did not fit the cycle was Death. Dorothy is a princess who lives in the kingdom of nature. Sworn into knighthood by tradition, she longs for something more and the Revels offer this. But when tragedy strikes at a Revel, Dorothy is left questioning everything she was ever taught not just by the legends but by her father too.

"The cold air bit against his heated skin, the air around him became heated, and the head in his hand had a look of frozen fear across her face. The man roared in anger, his crazed eyes darting all over the army that stood below him. He released the decapitated head, and dashed forward, a trail of fire and smoke following close behind him." -quote from the Scrolls of the Pantheons Throughout history, there has always been rumors, legends, myths...but there is one rumor, among the myths that causes some historians to scoff in disbelief. The Hunter. A man so feared that even gods shook in fear. What would you say, if I told you that he still lives? The man known as The Hunter has one job, protect humanity, and kill anything that would harm it. As most gods would tell you, this is not a man you want to be near, or even annoy. *ATTENTION* Before anyone goes, "Oh, you just changed the description of another persons book, and rewriting their chapters as your own!"
