The poison spread instantly, leaving him helpless as he collapsed. As he lay dying, Kai placed the severed finger of an ancient sorcerer into Issei's hand, making it appear stolen before fleeing with Keiko to report him. Confused and fading, Issei could do nothing. Seeing a final chance, Ddraig took control of Issei's arm and forced the cursed finger into his mouth, making him swallow it to save his life. Dark energy surged... and everything went silent. When the eyes opened again, Issei Hyoudou was no longer there. The one who awakened was the King of Curses.

After the defeat of Trihexa, Issei Hyoudou expected peace. Instead, he found the knife of betrayal. His brother, Renji Hyoudou the "perfect" sibling who made Issei's childhood a living hell conspired with the supernatural world to strip Issei of Ddraig and his status. This story will show on what would have happened if Issei never got caught by Black Arms after he was exiled to Forbidden Lands for the gas attack in Arcadia which was something he never did.
