The Marauders are starting their fifth year at Hogwarts; Remus is starting with a massive scar across his face - a byproduct of the increasing severity of his furry little problem, which is a definite cause for concern despite his insistence that it it's fine. Sirius is starting with the memories of a certain morning at 12 Grimmauld Place in August: memories that he might not ever forget, yet is desperate to cloak underneath the facade that every is fine at home and that he and his parents just sometimes encounter minor disagreements. James is starting his fifth year, yes, but more importantly, he is starting phase five of his plan to woo Lily Evans: somehow his friends seem doubtful that he might succeed, but James, being James, is in no lack of confidence. And Peter, well, Peter is starting to wonder just why he puts up with these people, and if he should really be feeling sorry for Lily Evans, and maybe if he should have asked to have been sorted into Hufflepuff.

For so many years Merlin had stood standing guard over an empty lake - a resolute soldier with one last duty left to perform. Wars waged around him, and still he waited. When people asked him, when even Alaric dared question, the answer they got was always the same. "How can I do anything but wait?" "Who are you waiting for, though?" He would smile faintly. "A prat." I refuse to be judged on this. I wrote it when I was about 13, okay? Disclaimer- I own nothing of merlin, all characters belong to bbc I also claim no credit for the cover picture

I decided to expand on my Methur fanfic, and start their story from the very beginning. Merlin is a young warlock who somehow finds himself as the manservant to the prince of Camelot. At first, he cannot stand his princely employer, but when the two start to spend more time together they realise that there may be a fine line between disgust and desire. © 2014, Chiara Sullivan. Angry and bitter about her parent's divorce, sixteen-year-old Faith Everett isn't pleased when her mother packs up their lives and moves them to the small town of Meadow. Faith has a bone to pick with the world and prefers to stay away from the company of others. She has her reasons, but she's not about to share them with anyone. Hope Chamberlain, often referred to as the Mother Theresa of Meadow, has spent her life devoted to service, tradition, and the unshaken belief that goodness can mend whatever's broken. She leads her church's summer camp with a heart full of conviction and the belief that no soul is beyond saving. When Faith is forced to attend the same summer camp, their lives collide, and the two couldn't be more different. Hope wants to help Faith rediscover her religion--Faith just wants Hope to disappear. But as the girls' lives intertwine, what begins as resistance turns into a quiet, fragile connection that neither one of them expects. As the summer unfolds, both girls are forced to confront painful secrets, question their beliefs, and redefine what family and friendship truly mean. A poignant coming-of-age story about love, loss, and redemption. Hope and Faith explores the beauty of heartbreak, and how two opposites learn that healing sometimes begins in the most unexpected places.
