Sugar is a rebel. When her and her ex-boyfriend get into big trouble again their senior year of high school, her parents could not handle her shenanigans any longer, so they punish her by sending her to Alabama. Sugar does not understand how sending her far away from home is a punishment, however, the longer she's there she figures out why she was sent to Alabama.
