Post-strike. The Bronx Newsies are trying to stir up trouble in Manhattan. Sensing an impending war Jack reaches out for back-up. But he doesn't immediately go to Brooklyn as expected. He goes to a surprising source that's closer to home. Eventual David/OC.

Isa, a naïve but tough seventeen year old girl, can't do anything with her life running away from the Refuge and the police. Davey can't cope with having to leave the Newsies, the only friends he ever known, for good. Together, hand in hand, they might make it through.
