A world where Japan and the United States never went to war, as a result of following a route that diverged only slightly from actual historical events. The Empire of Japan barely managed to survive into the 21st century... This story was essentially cooked just to pit the Yamato and Musashi against the Grade Atlastar, and that Japan that appears in this story isn't all that different from our own. It's a straightforward tale of kicking Louria, Parpaldia, and the Gra Valkas Empire's asses, and trolling the shit out of Mu. RELEASE: 2020 (COMPLETED)

It was the dawn of a new millennium-1999, the threshold of the 21st century. Fireworks lit the sky, celebrations echoed through the streets, and Japan stood on the precipice of an era defined by globalization and technological progress. Then, without warning, the world as they knew it ceased to exist. A cataclysmic earthquake tore through the archipelago, shaking the very foundations of the nation. Moments later, all communication with the outside world went silent. Panic spread as radar screens across the country flickered, their displays shifting from the familiar to the impossible-Asia, the largest continent on Earth, had vanished. Every known landmass surrounding Japan was simply... gone. In their place, the endless expanse of the Pacific stretched further than it ever should have. Yet, to the east, where there should have been nothing but open ocean, a new, uncharted continent emerged from the void. Vast, foreign, and utterly unknown, its presence defied logic. Was this an experiment gone wrong? Was this some bixzare trick? Perhaps a glitch in the systems? With the tides of globalization once threatening to pull Japan into obscurity, the country now faced an even greater existential crisis. It fell upon Prime Minister Shinji Hashimoto and his administration to navigate this unprecedented upheaval. Their nation stood at a crossroads, forced to confront not only the mysteries of this strange new reality but also the internal struggles that had long simmered beneath the surface. Inspired by みのろう's Summoning Japan (Nihonkoku Shoukan, NHS), this is a fan-made exploration of a different world-one where Japan, now isolated yet unshackled, must forge its own path. As the first light of a new dawn illuminates the foreign land before them, Japan gazes upon the Golden horizon-not just as a breathtaking spectacle, but as a symbol of both hope and uncertainty. What lies beyond? Opportunity or ruin? Only time will tell.

Note: this is a draft of the story. Decades after the Second Great War, the world settled into an uneasy balance. The war had ended in a stalemate, with no clear victor. Instead, Earth was divided among four superpowers: the Soviet Union, the United States, the infamous German Reich, and the Japanese Empire-the fourth great power standing shoulder to shoulder with the giants of the era. But fate had other plans. One day, without warning, Japan disappeared from the world map. United States satellites captured the anomaly first, their images revealing an inexplicable void where the islands of Japan had once been. News spread quickly, sparking panic and speculation as the world's powers scrambled to investigate the mystery of Japan's disappearance. Meanwhile, on the other side of the phenomenon, Japan itself was plunged into a blackout that lasted for hours-maybe even days. When power finally returned, officials expected to find everything as it was. But the view from Japan's own satellites told a different story. The Japanese archipelago was now alone, surrounded by unfamiliar waters. To the west stretched an endless ocean; to the east, an unknown continent loomed a thousand kilometers away. Closer still lay a smaller island, just 750 miles off the coast. The familiar shores of East Asia were nowhere to be seen-only the strange, alien landscape of a new world. Cut off from Earth and facing the unknown, the Japanese Empire must adapt to this mysterious land, a place of potential allies, powerful foes, and secrets waiting to be uncovered. Their survival and future now hinge on their ability to navigate this uncharted world. The Japanese Empire must press forward-and carve a new destiny.

"A mind unfettered in deliberation" The North Atlantic Treaty Organization was and is still the strongest military alliance in the planet of Earth, founded on the idea of countering the Soviet Union. Even after it's collapse, the alliance remained and it's strength expanded. On January 13 2022, however, a terrible catastrophe struck as the entire alliance disappeared one day along with all of their assets. NATO found themselves alone with only their allies in this new world, bearing victim to something scientifically impossible. Stuck in a New World filled with things only thought to be found in fantasy. Where magic was more dominant than science. More species and wildlife not found on Earth. Upon exploring this world further, they would soon come to a realization that it was more divided, more hostile and where the strong makes the rules. Nihonkoku Shoukan is created by Minorou and I do not in any way own the novel. This is simply a fanfiction/fan work of the original. Rating: It's mature for a reason. Do not go ballistic on me if you see gore, death, war or anything that fits this rating. You've been warned.
