Coming out was something Michael Mell thought he'd never have to worry about. It was a concept he thought he would never have to face. Was he scared? Of course. He was more scared than he was at Jake's party but he knew it was time. If he kept this from anyone for much longer he'd fall apart from the inside out. He also knew that if things went south, Rich would be right there by his side to comfort him. He definitely knew that it would be fine with his moms. I mean, they probably want a gay kid. But the rest of his school and all of his friends? That was something he definitely wasn't ready to face. Summer vacation. It was the thing Rich was definitely not looking forward to yet he didn't want to be at school either. Ever since he got out of the hospital everything in his life has been different. He wasn't comfortable talking because of his lisp. Rich had become the quiet kid. He kind of stopped talking to people. He was hated by almost everyone because of the fire.
