And at some point, they reached at a crossroad of their life where she is hell-bent on letting go and he is determined to make her stay. For eternity. Disclaimer: This is my retelling of the iconic show "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein." I am a huge fan of the initial 1.5-2 years which were telecast at 11 pm. Those initial days of YHM are the inspiration for my story. I attempt to close loopholes and expand on relationships and character conflicts that were insufficiently addressed on the show (in my opinion). The characters here are all the same as in the original show. The only difference is that Simi's husband and Ananya's father is a guy named Pulkit. Both Simi and Pulkit are good people and happily married. Param is not a character in this story. If you are unfamiliar with the original characters, please refer to the family trees added with the trailer. Although the story and premise is different, I will be recreating certain tracks that could have gone better in my opinion (Ishita's infertility; custody trial of both Ruhi and Adi; Mani's entry and Raman's jealousy; Ishita's insecurities regarding Shagun; IshRa pregnancy track and Pihu's birth). Toshiji winked making her blush. (Hmmm. Your Raman is very nice.) "Kya Mummyji aap bhi." Toshiji laughed at her daughter-in-law reaction. (Mummyji, not you too.) Ishita covered the dough with a plate, wondering about the change in Raman's personality. As with her Raman is anything but Understanding. He is clingy, demanding and possessive as hell. Ishita pouted remembering how he didn't even let her stay at her parent's house. His excuses always ready before she even makes plan to visit her parents. How he tore that beautiful red dress because 3rd quarter was too short according to him. How he fired his employee because 2 second was too much to stare his wife. How ... "Ishita" Sighed as his voice echoed in whole house. Holding the tray with freshly brewed coffee, she climbed the stairs to attend Her Possessive Husband. ******* As the title says, a tale about sweet Ishita and Her Possessive Husband. Based on the original story line of YHM, this story is about Ishita and Raman dealing with a rift in their (budding) relationship, soon after the revelation pertaining to Mrs.Iyer's accident. The story will further explore, how they come to terms with their feelings for each other and finally come together as a couple. I have always felt that Mrs.Iyer's accident track should have been a turning point in IshRa's relationship. While it broke Ishita's trust in Raman, eventually it should have brought them closer and helped them forge an unbreakable bond. And that is what I hope to achieve in this story. Please note that the basic story line and most of the incidents that happened before the accident track remain the same But I have taken the liberty to make a few changes and move things around a bit, which will be evident to the readers as the story progresses.
