There were many wars throughout human history, some being remarkable and others being the polar opposite. The Great Naval Battle, however would prove to be one of the most catastrophic wars of them all. One early morning on the year of 2036, mysterious ghost ships resembling World War 2 warships, appeared in several spots around the world. At first, no nation paid any mind to them, but as the frequency of apparitions escalated, the world took notice. Then one fateful day, a flotilla of the ghost ships sailed into Russian waters and were fired upon by the naval forces that were deployed as a defensive measure. The obliteration of the Russian fleet put the wheels that'd start the Great Naval Battle, into motion. Now, 17 years later, a rogue submarine from the now named Fleet of Fog has come into contact with humans. That submarine was the I-401. This ship was the first and only known Fog ship to have a human crew. This was in the Pacific, specifically in Japanese waters. But they weren't the only ones to get their hands on a ship...

Vree liked his humans. They were kind, clever, and tended to be adorable, in the way that a small, particularly spiny cub was adorable right before it bit you. Of course, small adorable cubs usually couldn't shapeshift or burst into flame whenever it suited them. Tusca hired a teenager on a whim, and a doctor because they were old friends. Unfortunately, nothing is ever simple when a Red Baron is at the helm.
