It's fourth year for the Marauders. During summer, Remus is always at a dog park. One day he sees a big black dog who wont leave him alone. Remus doesn't mind though. He is completely oblivious.

Sirius knew Remus was the one for him since they were at Hogwarts, but it took Remus a few years to figure it out. But something neither of them knew when they became Harry's godfathers, was they would have to raise him. Sirius Black, maybe not as fresh-faced but still just out of college, is, let's say, a little bolder. He's happy to be noticed - even happier when it's the freckled boy that hides in the library. Disclaimer: my parents weren't even a twinkle in someone's eyes in the 70s. Historical accuracy isn't going to be my focus point; but I'll try my best. And Peter, well, Peter is starting to wonder just why he puts up with these people, and if he should really be feeling sorry for Lily Evans, and maybe if he should have asked to have been sorted into Hufflepuff.
