There was once a young boy fascinated in wild things. Every day, he'd explore the little elements of nature. Perhaps one day, you would find him studying the stem of a leaf. Another day, a squirrel. Though nobody would dare say it out out loud, the expression on their faces said it all.

Eight years before the Literature Club was founded everybody's childhood had always been so normal, well at least for Monika. Yasuki, a "low life" boy her age who is antisocial, was changed by her kindness and concerns. His feelings would gradually grow along with their friendship, yet he couldn't bring the urge to confess to her.
