The Battle for Helm's Deep is over, but the battle for Middle Earth is about to begin. Rayel finds herself thrown from one battle and tragedy and into yet another. With the discovery of her elemental powers comes the realization that she is a dangerous weapon to both the armies of Mordor and to her friends and comrades. The Great Eye has shifted its gaze to her and now she has a choice: Fight for her friends and allies, or flee into the Mountains. What will become of her relationship with Legolas? When Rayel, Merry and Pippin are kidnapped by the Urk-Hai, the remaining Fellowship sets out to find them. Once reunited with her friends, Rayel is determined to secure the Hobbits' safety. When news of an attack on Rohan comes, Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli and Rayel spring into action to defend the people of Rohan in Helm's Deep. This furthers and continues the blossoming relationship between Rayel and Legolas.
