Later, when they’re tucked into bed (she being done with a quick shower and donning a pair of sweatpants and an over sized shirt of his) with his head buried into her shoulder and her running a hand through his brown locks, she couldn’t help but stare at the boy- no, this man-who went through so much and lost even more yet still came out with his moralities intact. Sure, no one was perfect, but she realized that even though no one is perfect, everyone is perfect in their own, special way.
