"Who are we? Well for starters, this is my prince, my heart, the love of my undead life." "And this is Kai, my guard." ** Despite their lethal bites, inhuman dominance, and calculating actions, vampires have served humans for years. They haven't been overthrown, but subjected to act like pets for royal uses. That's why the Dions, the highly noble family of the largest kingdom has prospered with their armies. Because, let's be logical, fifty blood thirsty vampires against a hundred humans with only a useless sword, it's obvious who takes the victory. But the Dions aren't like the other royal families in...many ways. And it all leads to the King and Queen's son, Iris, and his personal body guard, Kai, who have this..thing but they don't know about this..thing, nor do outsiders recall this..thing. Thing as in sexual tension.

Deeply hurt by a lover's betrayal, Noah Hunter leaves a shattered life behind and moves to Spring Lakes to join his brother's pack. All he wants is a quiet place and some time to heal. Fate has other ideas. In the middle of the night, on a lonely stretch of road, Noah hits a dog. When he brings the injured animal to a veterinarian, he crosses paths with the singular, mysterious, and aggravatingly handsome Ambrose Thorne. When, after learning that Noah needs a place to stay, Ambrose invites him to his home, Noah thinks he may have found just the sort of peace and space he needs, and the last thing he expects is to become entangled in the heart of a mystery. While helping his brother Dane on a case involving a string of inexplicable thefts, Noah soon discovers that his new acquaintance is more than he seems and is inextricably tied to the strange burglaries. As the case becomes complicated by occult rituals, murder, and mythical beasts, Noah finds himself in more than one kind of danger - because while he doubts that anyone would want something so broken and torn, it seems like his heart might get stolen, too. He just hopes that the one who steals it and the thief at the heart of the mystery are not one and the same. ----- WARNINGS: This story contains strong language, some violence, and sex. ----- DISCLAIMER: This is a work of fiction. 8:15 every morning I see him. In his big red Ford truck, with his window down just enough to let the smoke from his cigarette go through. His sunglasses on as he mumbles the words to whatever song is on the radio while driving said truck with one hand. Possibly with the help of a knee. I see this, every weekday morning. The same time, the same place. Am I crazy for thinking about him? Or thinking about us? Or is this just a fantasy that'll never see the light of day? Cover By @RebekahHeart

Reports of abandoned children, roaming around in the wilds and refusing any human contact, were starting to become the hot topic. The humans who never encountered one of these children, deemed the reports nothing more than stories; fairytales designed to spook and scare people. But the very few that have spotted one of these wild and untamed children knew that these weren't just stories. They just didn't know the true nature of these wild, sometimes aggressive children. Feral shifters, abandoned at birth. Werecreatures that lived on instinct alone, until the were-community managed to capture them.

Samuel Brandt woke up with his thoughts written all over his body. His brother woke up with his head missing. His sister woke up to find that her skin would crack open unless she stayed in water. All of the other children in the secluded Iowa town of Oak Knoll woke up having undergone strange transformations. Now, they are all forced to live at 407 West Marshall Street, the mysterious house outside of town. With the new name of The Boy with Words for Skin, Samuel wants nothing more than to hide from his new life. He painfully and unpredictably sheds his skin, there is a Voice in the entryway closet that is often cruel, and-perhaps worst of all for a naturally shy boy-the other children look to him as a leader. As his seven-year-old brother struggles with their new life, as terrifying growls start to come from the pitch black basement, and as his feelings for a girl begin to grow, The Boy with Words for Skin realizes that he wants to change. He wants to put others first, learn from his peers, and let himself hope that things will get better. The Boy with Words for Skin is the first book in the 407 West Marshall Street series. Each book will advance the story but be told from a different character. Book 2 will be The Girl without Eyes.
