Detective Beyoncé Knowles and Detective Shawn Carter partner together to solve these homicides. They are so opposite they complete each other. But at the end of the day, they solve the crime. Form the first day they met. They felt a connection that they both are aware of, but are trying to fight because of the wall they have built to protect their hearts. While solving the cases, they realize that the feeling they have for each other is something they have never experienced before and their unorthodox partnership has its benefits. They investigate homicides in Hollywood, all the while building a strong, if complicated, relationship with each other.
