However, before she could even fully understand what was happening, ravels of mystery and conspiracy about her background and identity started lingering around Rainie. It gets better towards the end, but by the time of-age characters seemed appropriate to me, this book was long since complete and I was already working on a second draft. For everyone's sake, in this draft, just figure they're 18. (Because istg im this close to offing marley with how much crap I'm still getting over their ages. I was that age when I wrote it.
