Completed. Oliver Wood x OC.
Olivia "Liv" Louderman never planned to fall for Quidditch-or the boy who plays it like his life depends on it.
Despite being the daughter of legendary Keeper Carrie Louderman, Liv's flying career ended at age eight with a dramatic tumble and two broken bones. Since then, she's happily kept both feet on the ground (preferably in the Muggle Art Society at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry), brushes in hand and not a broomstick in sight.
Oliver Wood changed everything for her. Becoming the Gryffindor keeper at the age of twelve, he garnered something of a name for himself at Hogwarts. With the pressure on his shoulders before his first match, Liv crossed the house lines and offered to do what her mother's team had always done.
One streak of green and black war paint before his first match. Despite hesitation, Oliver agreed. He could do with looking more intimidating after all. Suddenly, Liv had a new routine; painting Oliver's game face before every match for three years. It was tradition. It was magic (well, Muggle paint, but still).
But with captaincy comes strategy, and now Oliver thinks the war paint is a distraction-or worse, a risk. Liv's cousin and fellow Hufflepuff has been determined to try out for the Hufflepuff Quidditch team after two years of heartbreakingly polite rejections. And while Liv would never betray Oliver's playbook, the idea that he suspects her hits her harder than a rogue Bludger.
With cousin Gage and best friend Amarachi 'Ama' Hayes by her side, Liv is headed into a fourth year full of complicated feelings, competitive cousins and a Gryffindor captain no longer wanting his face painted.
Paint might be washable but crushes?
Not so much.
