After the war, everything changed. Not everything that Dumbledore tried to make happen happened. Wrong people died, wrong people lived. Dumbledore himself survived somehow. And now, Snape is back at Hogwarts teaching. Hermione Granger came back strictly to take her NEWTS. But one conversation with Snape has her wondering if all this time, her Harry and Ron had been wrong about him. If he was just a sweet, nice guy that was forced to do dark things. Hermione ends up back in time, but not everything is as it seems when she melds into the old world in a different disguise than one would expect... especially Severus Snape.

This is set after the war, Voldemort is dead as is Bellatrix Lestrange. All the deatheaters have been given trials and are either in Azkaban or doing community service. Like the Malfoys who are helping rebuild the school. Severus Snape survived the war and was cleared on all charges thanks to a hidden letter Dumbledore had left. The wizarding population suffered a huge decline. So bad that the ministry has made a law to repopulate the wizarding world, a marriage law. What happens when Hermione Granger is paired with Severus Snape?

Of course Severus Snape was the only one Hermione could rely on to save Ron's life, but will he end up saving hers instead, or causing it utter ruin?

After Hermione spills a potion she is forced to serve detention. But what happens when her feelings start to change?

Ministry Passes New Marriage Law! Calling all single wizards! Get ready to stand at the altar, and say some vows cause we're all getting married! According to a new law, passed just this morning, all eligible witches and wizards are to be matched via Pura Vinculum and married by the Ministry. Talk about romantic. "We wish it had not come to this, but there is no doubt that the population of the wizarding world is diminishing. We have to do something now, or we could go extinct. I can only hope that those involved understand how truly saddened the ministry is that it has come to this, come to taking away people's rights to marry whom they love." Said Minister of Magic, Kingsley Shacklebolt. But that's not all! It's not just all the single wizards that get to get matched up! If there are couples out there that aren't already engaged or married, they get to go in and see if they match with Pura Vinculum. If not, they'll get split apart. Talk about a rip off. Now, these marriages are expected to consummate within a month of being married, and produce an heir within a year. Good luck to those of you singles out there, and those not wed couples.
