"Starbucks Series", is an idea I got from the "Fruit Series" story by Opal Palmer Adisa, as she split the story into little mini short stories about certain types of fruit like naseberry and mango, and personifying them as women, and help give the story amazing imagery and description. I didn't want to copy the objects that Palmer used, so I added my own twist, and decided to use drinks from Starbucks for two reasons. One, I love Starbucks to death and two, I wanted to try to appeal to the readers that are coffee or tea lovers. I liked Palmer's use of personification, so I tried do the same thing like describing a cappuccino as a women with, "creamy, brown skin." Enjoy
