"Out of the box flew every kind of trouble that people had never known about before: sicknesses, and worries, and crimes, and hate and envy and all sorts of bad things. The bad things all began to fly away like little bugs, all over the place. Pandora was very sorry now that she had opened the box! She tried to catch the bad things and put them back in the box but it was too late. They all flew away but there was one left behind for the sake of all mankind. It was HOPE." -Prometheus Hope, that is the only thing that was left behind and that was indeed mankind's fate and that's what we're going to see. By the way, my real name is Kushagra and this is my first story so, please provide me with constructive criticism. Gold is a really precious metal and is present at the surface of the reactivity series {For you Chemistry lovers :) }. It has been used for many purposes in history. From the clothes of the pharaohs to the clothes of Indian women to satellites. It has been used as both a weapon to attract love and also as something that puts you against it. But is it all worth it? It is just metal like copper but it still has some value and for it, mankind has taken up weapons( and mobiles for playing Fortnite) and killed men, women, and children. SPOILER ALERT In this story, we are going to see how a young and cheerful detective's life is turned into a dull and erratic one just for somebody's attraction towards gold and although the story ends with everyone happy and gay, we are going to see that how gold can leave someone scarred forever. Anyways, I don't expect any views, comments or votes for this but I'll hope that you enjoy it. Cheers, fellas if anybody is even reading sob..sob..sob Crying sounds.

WATTPAD BOOKS EDITION Griffin Tomlin is dead. And Clara's sister killed him . . . Four months after the murder, the entire town of Shiloh is still in shock. For Clara Porterfield, the normal world has crumbled around her in a million chaotic pieces. Now Clara lives in a new reality, where her sister awaits trial for murder, her mother obsessively digs in a dead, frozen garden, and her father lives and breathes denial. At school, Clara is haunted by her classmates' morbid curiosity-and all of the unspoken questions they won't ask. But none of them knows what she knows . . . Now Clara's sister wants something from her-the one thing in all of this that Clara isn't ready to face: the truth about what really happened that night. Because this story didn't die with Griffin Tomlin. There's another story that needs to be told. And sometimes, the lies we're told are nowhere near as deadly as the lies we tell ourselves . . .
