¡HUGE MANGA SPOILERS! you have been warned. Hawks remembered waking up in the hospital, face down on the bed with doctors surrounding him frantically. He was hoping that they could fix it, or that he could fix it on his own, but wasn't surprised when they said they couldn't fix him. He was crushed, but knew he deserved it. After all, he did kill one of the only people who liked him for who he was. He would just have to live with it. He didn't like how he could fit in the shirts that had accidentally been left at his place without doing anything to them. He didn't like how many people would look at him with pity. He just didn't like it. But he was going to have to live with it. Written before the manga got past the war arc, so it follows the manga to a point. @marsh.maellows524 is the cover artist. I nodded and tucked one strand of his hair behind his ear. I didn't even think about what I was doing. I wasn't scared to embarrass myself anymore. I wasn't even thinking about anything anymore. Nothing surrounding us mattered. My brother could come running towards us standing in flames and I'd still need to be slapped some sense into before I would react. Hawk's smile grew a bit, but stayed soft. "If I become a pro hero, you'll be one too. Let's... be heroes together. Like a duo or something... Like partners. You have crimson hair and I have crimson wings. It would fit so well." I smiled brighter at him. The thought of growing up and becoming heroes with him made me so happy. - But things can change so fast. Someone can become a completely new person in only a few years. Two childhood "friends" meet after many years again and realize that their feelings for each other haven't faded at all. But can a villain and a hero really be together or are they destined to fall apart?
