A couple months into the second school year Izuku Midoriya goes into UA high. There he meets a new friend named Shoto Todoroki. He deeply contrasts to how Izuku acts. As he's a bit more of a delinquent while Izuku is much more well-behaved. The principal thought it would be a good idea to have Todoroki as Izuku's guide for the rest of the year to keep the both of them out of trouble. Thanks to an accident during a villain attack on UA, Todoroki lost his sight while protecting the injured Midoriya. Midoriya feels unbearably guilty for what happened to Todoroki and wants to do everything to help, but how do you help someone who constantly gets your heart racing, making you a blushing, stuttering mess? What they don't know, the quirk affecting Todoroki has another side to it which has yet to be discovered. Will Todoroki be able to get everything under control, or will he accidentally hurt the one he loves while trying?

Heroes are kind. Heroes save people. Heroes want to help people no matter what. Heroes are like All Might, smiling regardless of how a tough a fight is. Heroes, Izuku has learned, can also not be heroes at all. One article about a bad hero turns into four articles, then ten, then twenty and soon the whole country is reading about licensed villains playing at savior. Izuku writes them haphazardly, picking heroes whose wrong doings are masked by their fame. That is, until he meets Endeavor.
