A short story Joanne AU A little idea I had that grew into a short 16 chapter book. Read it if you wish! **preview** "Oh my god, sorry," Joe heard, just after a small, fast moving body collided with him on a busy street causing the coffee in his hand to wobble dangerously. He blinked and looked down, seeing a woman with short brown hair picking up something she had dropped- her phone- Joe realised. She picked it up and wiped it against her leg with a groan. "Don't worry," he held his hand out for her, "here." The petite woman took his hand and Joe's stomach flip-flopped churning the bagel he had inhaled on his way out of the door this morning; the woman's hand felt all too familiar. As she reached his eye level, Joe had to stop a gasp that was trying to escape his lips, "Dianne?" "Yes? How do you know my n-" she had just looked up at him from the phone in her hand and all words flew from her head at the sight of those piercing eyes. "I don't believe it." "Joe," she dropped his hand, "oh my, bloody hell." There was a moment or two of what could only be described as an awkwardly unpleasant silence, as they both took the person in front of them in, in all of their glory.

Watching Joe and Dianne playing Sims 4 during lockdown inspired me to write this story. It follows the Suggwells as they build a home, build a relationship, and build a life together. The structure of the story is similar to that of 'New Girl' by Rzar123. I haven't copied (I swear!), but I was inspired by the idea of having each chapter set over the course of a month. And, as the story unfolds, you'll hopefully understand why I've paced it that way. But if you like a slow-burn romance, this story ain't it! For those who have watched the Sim's videos, you'll know that everything happened very quickly in that game. So, I've tried to slow the pace down a bit; but the story will still require some suspension of disbelief (well, more than my previous stories!), so please try to humour me! This won't play out in exactly the same way as the series did, but there are certain plot points from the videos that I will be including. And although I've tried to make it as realistic as possible, the story is still quite satirical and doesn't take itself too seriously! All comments, feedback and suggestions are welcome, and I will try to take them on board.

This is the final book in the Two Become Three series. It is a series of one shots that run from 2014 when Connie is born and well into the future, giving an insight into what life was like, is like and will be like for this growing family!

After some chaotic adventures, new friendships and a complicated romantic rendezvous, Dianne realizes that her plan B might not be all that temporary after all. Very loosely based off the American show "New Girl", but with the standard Joe and Dianne twist, of course :)

Secret agent Dianne Buswell is sent to his house to be his "care-worker" as he is now temporarily blind while his eyes heal. But she was sent to try and figure out his evil plans, but didn't expect to fall in love with him.
