Then one of the strange pillars opened, a pale gas almost fog-like drifted from it before a figure moved. He almost screamed, thinking he had stumbled upon a crypt hidden deep in an old castle, when the figure moved. A flash of red before sentries fell. Blinking his eyes clear he watched the fog dissipate before he found the alien. He was tall, taller than he was anyway, with strange red and white armour on. His eyes were a deep purple colour when they suddenly locked onto him. ~~~ The paladins are asleep for 10,000 years and accidentally awoken by a stranger. This stranger has experience of being under the Galran's thumb and is willing to fight for his and others independence. I'm not very good at description but this is a Lance-centric story. After a battle to rescue a civilization from the Galra, the species they come across can sense peoples feelings and insecurities and intentions. If someone is hurting they fix them, because they hate the negative energy in their kingdom. What happens when the team is confused by a small alien who comes to the queen gobsmacked and pointing at Lance frantically muttering "We can't fix him!" and Lance is ordered to stay in the castle? ~ I totally made this up. The most common is to have some relation to a cat or wolf (ears and tails) and the rarest [and most dangerous] is to be born with wings. Lance is one of the few unlucky souls born with wings. He must deal with all the struggles of being a rare and valued trinket and learn how to become a Paladin.
