This is set six years after Season 3. A snowstorm hits the northern part of California, and Tina Kennard is forced to fight a stronger storm: her inner turmoil and someone from the past.

Bette and Tina AU. Bette and Tina had always been a solid couple until 5 years ago, when Bette received a job offer abroad and they broke up. Now, she is back to LA and expects to find everything exactly the way she left it, or rather, everyone. However, she is quite surprised to see that a lot has changed...

While the recently reunited Porter-Kennard family try to put together a routine for their family life, Bette receives a package from an old lover that draws her into a mystery about a painting that had been seized by the Nazi's in 1939 and thought to have been destroyed. This mystery unfolds under the umbrella of the international COVID virus. This is a sequel to Love, Loss and Living.
