"Maybe it's time we stopped trying to stay away from each other," I said, surprising myself with my confidence. A tiny smirk of a smile skittered across his top lip, and before he could say anything in response, I stood on my tiptoes and crushed my lips to his. ****************************** Spock is a Vulcan, he abhors all emotional responses. Alex is completely different, and everything Spock doesn't want. She's crude, messy, unorganised and has a laugh like a drunken hyena. Spock dislikes her from the offset, but as they get closer together, can the two of them prove that opposites really do attract? Rated for swearing (SERIOUSLY I SWEAR A LOT IN MY WRITING BE W A R N Ed) and a few sexual situations (one of the chapters nearer the end is for 18+ only, you'll know when you get to it) ************************* A Slow-Burn Spock OC romance with oodles of sass and tension, read the first chapter and see what you think... Reveiws (from ff.net) 'This is so adorable, I genuinely had to stop reading a few times to fangirl. Please continue soon, this was amazing to read and I aspire to be as good a writer as you. Also everyone should read this, it's cracking.' 'I don't usually review but I feel this fanfic deserves it as it captures the characters amazingly, the writing is witty and spectacular, the story is awesome and I am always left wanting more, thank you for providing this fanfic, it's amazing. Also I look forward to more sass between Spock and Birchwood.'

Catherine is no ordinary 17 year old girl. She is a mutant. She has the ability to heal quickly and her skeleton is reinforced with the indestructible metal adamantium and claws of the same metal (Like Wolverine from the x men but Catherine has claws coming out from where her fingernails are instead of between her knuckles). At day she is a shy, nerdy girl hiding behind her big square glasses, but when it gets dark she becomes Catwoman the independent strong crime fighting heroine of New York City. She isn't the only hero in the city, Spider-man is there too and when they bump into each other it isn't exactly love at first sight. Can the two crimefighters find a way to work together? Is it possible to do so without knowing each others real identities? The story will be told here.

She has superspeed, She can fly in the air, has super strength, extraordinary reflexes, and elemental powers that no one has never seen before. “Unconsciously we all have a standard by which we measure other men, and if we examine closely we find that this standard is a very simple one, and is this: we admire them, we envy them, for great qualities we ourselves lack. Hero worship consists in just that. Our heroes are men who do things which we recognize, with regret, and sometimes with a secret shame, that we cannot do. We find not much in ourselves to admire, we are always privately wanting to be like somebody else. If everybody was satisfied with himself, there would be no heroes.” ― Mark Twain "My own heroes are the dreamers, those men and women who tried to make the world a better place than when they found it, whether in small ways or great ones. Some succeeded, some failed, most had mixed results... but it is the effort that's heroic, as I see it. Win or lose, I admire those who fight the good fight.” ― George R. R. Martin "Who am I? You sure you want to know? The story of my life is not for the faint of heart. If somebody said it was a happy little tale... if somebody told you I was just your average ordinary guy, not a care in the world... somebody lied." -Peter Parker
