This is the start of a story about a girl named Vanessa "Ness" Singer. She is Bobby's daughter, and also a hunter that actually has a home and a job at a bar as a bartender in a town called Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She has known Sam and Dean Winchester since forever, but she sees Dean a little bit differently than she sees Sam. And she will stop at nothing to protect them and her dad.

Ness Singer cares about Dean Winchester. She does. But she doesn't want to start anything because he only has a year to live, and next year, he won't be here. Why put herself through more pain than she will be already going through? But she will do anything it takes to try to save him from Hell, and anything it takes to help Sam stay sane while he looks for ways to save Dean, and anything it takes to protect her dad as much as she can. Ness Singer is getting ready for the war that is still left to come. Dean Winchester is back from Hell, and he's brought back by Angels to help their fight against demons and "trying to stop the Apocalypse". But he needs help from his brother Sam, Ness and her father Bobby. But will all of them be willing to help things this way?

Ness Singer is being just as there for the Winchesters and her father as before, maybe even a little bit more. Because now that the angels and the demons have started the Apocalypse with the help of Dean and Sam of breaking the first and last seals. And they are the only ones that can stop the Apocalypse, and possibly the only ones with enough power that want to. So, now, it's just up to Sam, Dean, Ness, Castiel and Bobby to set things right and save everyone, but does that mean everyone will make it out alive?

Ness Singer is about to lose everything that she had counted on for most of her life. She lost her job in the last book, when the demons had come to take her to Crowley. Castiel has let leviathans into this world. They eat their way out of him and are loose, on the prowl for Sam, Dean, Ness and Bobby. They burn down Bobby's house, Ness' former home. They burn down Dean and Ness' apartment for over a year. And the leviathans take away Ness' father, Bobby. Ness is in denial, grief, even a little anger. She's changing, and she wants revenge. Heartbreak and anger, betrayal and revenge. Can Ness get it all, or will she die trying?

Ness Singer-Winchester has been a busy, busy girl for years on end now, and this year is just as busy as all the others. If not more. Her brother-in-law Sam Winchester is possessed by the angel "Ezekiel"/Gadreel, just to keep him alive because of the aftermath of the trials that had nearly finished Sam. Her husband Dean? All he does is worry about Sam and Ness, and doing their job. He's also very worried about losing Sam after what he did to protect him. And Ness is trying her best to make sure that Sam and Dean don't fall apart, even if it means that she falls apart herself in the process.

Ness Singer-Winchester is about to become... The DemoNess (Sorry for the cliche :) ) But she is going to have fun, for a demon... But when she gets back, still having to deal with the mark of Cain... the guilt... enemies... friends... Castiel... and the Winchester brothers... it's not gonna get any better for Ness until she gets rid of the mark. And the downward spiral may or may not change her forever. With secrets and lies building from both sides... what will happen for this little family... And can all be forgiven?

Actually thought Dean Winchester and Ness Singer could get away for long? Keep dreaming. A year after they started to live a normal life, they find out that Sam is alive, and has been for the entire year. And they find out that Bobby knew the entire time, and had never told them because they had gotten out. And neither of them are too sure of how they feel about getting back into the hunting life. Are they happy? Are they angry? Or are they actually a little bit relieved? All they know is that it can only get worse from here.

Dean Winchester and his wife Ness Singer-Winchester are in for an even bigger surprise in the next book. Ness no longer has the mark of Cain, but she does meet the Darkness and give birth in the first chapter of the book. Dean and Ness are officially mother and father to two twins, a boy and a girl, and Ness is back to her old self. But do they get to keep it all?
