In 1987, an 18 year old boy named Kennith Simmons hacked a national television broadcast for about 24 hours, starting once the particular station getting hijacked went off air and ending around the same time the following night. During this event, a program of colors and audio frequencies was broadcasted, causing it's viewers to fall into a brainwashed state. Viewers were unable to turn the TV off, look away, or do anything that could break the trance.
