This is a Story like no other, After saving the world and defeating Malefor Spyro and Cynder are find themselves with new challenges which will take the both of them to win and find love for each other as well as battling a new enemy unlike anything they have ever seen before.

Silence, peaceful silence. Then a purple light. Then a ripping and grinding sound as the entire world was shoved back into place. A new Chronicler. Two dragons chasing one another. And after that? Five years since the defeat of The Dark Master, we once again see our hero and heroine faced with a challenge: survive their own species as the dragon race begins to rebuild. Spyro and Cynder are tested, their relationship and friendship pushed to the limit as new friends unknowingly pull them apart. Surviving Malefor was easy compared to maneuvering through society. And now as their friendship is put to the test, a new threat emerges, one that no dragon could have foreseen....

Three years after the defeat of The Dark Master, Spyro and Cynder are reunited; but life hasn't gotten any more peaceful. A crystal of dark power is taken from Warfang, and Spyro and Cynder are the best two dragons to find out the truth. But are they simply being played? Every move they make now seems to have been expected by an ingenious enemy, and the more they learn the more it seems as if they've been playing this game all their lives. Just how far do these plans go? What is their aim? Neither hero likes the idea of following the path that they've been put on, but to escape it they're going to need to fight harder then they ever have before.

So who's the Sun Dragon? Well he would have been known as a Skylander if he didn't suddenly decide it was "too much responsibility" for a creature of his personality and leave. However, with the new, improved, and frankly awesome Skylanders Academy and all the new kinds of Skylanders being introduced, not to mention the new Light and Dark elements, Sun Dragon finally decided to give the whole "hero thing" more of a chance. Skylanders and all things related to Skylanders belong to their respective owners. The OCs in this book belong to their creators. All creators of said OCs will be credited.
