Glimmer is in Horde Prime's captivity. Catra's isolation is complete. Adora can no longer become She-Ra. Horde Prime threatens to conquer their world only to destroy it using the Heart of Etheria. Despite their shortcomings, our heroes move forward.

Everyone knew the story. Soulmates. Your destined lover. Your other half. When you would meet them, a symbol would mark your meeting. Not a string of fate, not a tattoo. No, something extremely noticeable, something that would force you to stop. An earring, one on each soulmate, connecting them together through a link. A decorative chain, per say. Connecting one ear to the other. There was just one... small problem. Sans didn't have any ears. (Undertale belongs to Toby Fox, and the story idea / covers belongs to me.)

Excluding the most important holidays, there was only one other day a year that Grillby's was closed. If anyone actually looked inside, they would see Grillby sitting alone at the bar, his flames dim and with a picture pressed against his chest, reminiscing about a bittersweet past. No one would know why, but that was because everyone had forgotten the man Grillby had fallen in love with: W. D. Gaster.

For years, Papyrus knows, Sans has had nightmares. Horrible nightmares, nightmares that leave him crying in the dark, crippled in the mind, and barely able to function in life. And that's why Papyrus stays so happy, so bright, for Sans, to keep his brother going through the hard times. But when Papyrus starts having nightmares, he knows something is wrong. And even if it means Sans is finally stepping up to fend for himself, even if he's finally once again filling the role of the protective older brother, Papyrus knows that something dark is coming...

They chat, Grillby brings him home when he's drunk whenever Papyrus is unavailable, and pester each other a lot, just for shits and giggles. But both of them have stronger feelings that they're afraid to tell the other about, scared it could ruin their friendship that they had built so strongly over the years. Will Noelle build up the confidence to confess her love to Susie? Or will she fearfully discard her love, obeying her abusive mother? Or maybe Maybe her choices don't matter.
