"Yes, I should hire someone... like my personal assistant." When He suggested the idea, Zhan never thought He would actually be the one ending up having to play the fake fiance for his boss. But here He was, flying back to China on the arms of his hot steamy Chinese boss, Wang Yibo. Between juggling his new role as Yibo's fiancé and fighting to keep his true feelings under wrapped, would his boss actually end up viewing him as more than just his very efficient PA?

"Never hide things from hard-core thinkers. They get more aggravated, more provoked by confusion than the most painful truths." Tough beta cop, Wang Yibo, wakes up one morning with a hangover and some very vague memories of the previous night. One of those memories is something that he believes can't be possible. He sees a flash in his mind of his best friend, Xiao Zhan, who also happens to be his partner at work. Someone he always had a crush on. The thing that Yibo can't believe is what Zhan is doing in that memory. And why Zhan doesn't have any clothes on. It isn't until Zhan brings up the event that Yibo realizes what is happening to him. For the last fourty years, young beta men have been turning into omegas. Some as late as their twenties. Yibo is filled with shame when he realizes that's what's happening. He went into heat. He threw himself at his partner. He's now an omega. And he's carrying Zhan's baby. Yibo's whole world comes unraveled as he struggles with the changes his body is going through, as well as the changes in his perception of the world around him. He's no longer the tough beta cop he thought he was, but Yibo starts to realize what true strength really is.

The library was dark and empty when Zhan pulled open the door, light from the hall spilling into the room. There was something wrong. What was that on the sofa? He flicked on the light, revealing his Lowry had moved from the wall to the sofa in the night. "Where are you?" Zhan demanded at the shadows. "Show yourself!" One of the shadows shifted and then Zhan wasn't alone anymore.

Could a fairy help his assigned human find happiness? This story is written as a gift for Miky's birthday. It started out as a one-shot that got way too long, so I decided to turn it into a 5-chaptered short story. The final chapter will be posted right on Miky's birthday, September 14th.
