Sometimes I think poems are like quiet strangers in the corner of the room waiting to be known. Only when time is taken to approach them is their richness revealed. Here you will find poems on nature, loss, hope, and the soul. Simple topics some might say, yet subjects that seem to consume vast vats of ink. You may need to cross the room to meet these poems, but I hope in this collection you find one worth knowing.

In July 2017 I lost my uncle. It was my first time experiencing grief and I didn't (still don't) really know how to handle it. It was at my lowest moment that I picked up a notebook and pen and began to write. I wrote everything from letters to poems. I poured my deepest thoughts and feelings straight on to the paper and now I'm sharing them with you. This is my account of grief: Raw, unedited and straight from the heart.

Assorted Poetry

A banished knight writes sonnets addressed to a maiden with raven hair. It is unknown whether these sonnets have ever reached their intended recipient. Attempts to destroy these romantic poems have been unsuccessful as they are protected by a mysterious enchantment. Thus the ones that have been found are collected and kept here for those who wish to know their contents.
