John and Sherlock never lived a danger free life, but know everything was crashing all around them, and as John pulled himslef from the rubble to move on from his past Sherlock, the only question is can Sherlock do the same or will he fall further than ever before?

John and Sherlock's second Christmas. Sherlock randomly leaves one day and comes back with a surprise. Lots of fluff.

-The case was a disaster. The storm had come early, and they were stuck in the hotel. John didn't want to be in the room, not now. Not with Sherlock right there. Just within his reach. If he wanted, he could reach out, pull Sherlock close, hold him, kiss him, love him. But he wouldn't. John couldn't. Because Sherlock didn't have feeling for him. -Sherlock was tense. John was sitting across from him, his head leaning against the brunette wall, his eyes closed, his lips slightly parted. He was thinking, Sherlock knew that. He had studied John for so long, he knew everything. Yet, John was still foreign to him. Sherlock wanted to kiss John. Wanted to show John he cared. But he couldn't. Because John didn't have feelings for him.

After a long day of helping Lestrade examine a few bodies, John comes home to see his flatmate passed out on the couch with a fever. Mrs. Hudson is out of town, so the only one who can take care of Sherlock until he gets better is John.

Sherlock and John go on an undercover mission which forces them in to a situation where they can't deny their feelings any longer.
