Just a story I wrote back after watching Friendly Rivalry. this fan fiction is inspired by Khalid's song Better, and a bit of Nevertheless touches.

Deals were burned, alliances shattered, and bodies piled up in the alleys like discarded playing cards. Took place after the events of 'Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' After a painful realization of her heinous actions, the nightmarish Scarlet Witch destroys each & every copy of the Darkhold across the multiverse as her last act of redemption before succumbing to her 'death'. Instead of 'dying' the Scarlet Witch was instead teleported to a different universe called 'Earth-222' where she met what seemed to be an innocuous little girl in a rural coastal town with whom she mysteriously could not read telepathically. Who is this child? Is she a threat? Or a 'missing' remnant of her being?
