Zak has always wondered about when he would be able to see the color of the sky, or the grass or even his mother's eyes. All his life, he's lived surrounded by shades of white, black and grey. He longed to see what the world around him truly looked like, and when that day would come. Darryl has become used to the bland world he lived in, no longer imagining what his hair color was, or the color of his dog's fur. Any mention of color in conversation made him completely close off and turn into an emotionless being. That is, until he saw the light blue sweatshirt in front of him. *Complete as of October 25, 2019*

To L, she was an unknown piece in the giant game of chess he was playing with Kira. Or rather, she was the wildcard third person that had enough influence to disrupt his carefully laid out plays, and that demanded that he solve the enigma known as (Y/n) Yagami. She was dangerous, and knowing this, she wasn't above using her influence which made her a worrying variable. If he was going to solve this case, he had a feeling that he would need (Y/n) to be playing for his side, which was easier said than done since it would further require uprooting her seemingly unwavering loyalty to her brother.

in zak's imagination, anything was possible. even without a huge load of money standing beside his name, he found his own way of buying to happiness. zak's mindset was simple. he would live the way he wanted, act the way he wanted, and love whoever he wanted. he simply lived his own life the way he wanted to. it was a smooth rhythm and the chain had never been interrupted. that was until a converse wearing brunette boy from across the street thought - even with a charming smile and a terribly faked personality - that zak wasn't who he tried to be. 🏆 - #1 skephalo; january 12th 2020
