It's almost Christmas. Ah, Christmas! What a wonderful time of year! Everyones happy, singing Christmas songs, Nothing can go wrong on Christmas! But unfortunately, things can happen on people's birthdays. Like Luigi's. His birthday is also coming up very soon! He never does anything for his birthday. Untell Mario actually tries, and burn their whole house down! They end up staying with Wario and Waluigi for a little while. Mario and Luigi start getting desperate. They want to move out quick. Wario and Waluigi decides to take them o a little trip. On that trip, they visit a small village that's all about the holidays. Luigi finds a live stocking that says it needs help protecting the city inside of it. The four of them go into the stocking Christmas village to help save the day once more.

One day, you are sitting in the castle minding your own business when Mario introduces you to his inkling friend known as Meggy. Over time, you start to develop feelings for her and go through many adventures with Meggy.
