"As I grew up, I began to realise that my fate is not a blessing but instead a great burden. How can it be but a dire affliction to me, my family and my kingdom? For I am Ariadne, half-sister of the Minotaur of Crete." The slaying of the monstrous Minotaur of Crete by the hero, Theseus, echoed through the ages as an act of ideal heroism and pure courage. But what about Ariadne? All she did was to gift Theseus with a ball of thread. But there is so much more to the story. There is so much more left untold. This is Ariadne's story.
