"I told you to leave me alone...why can't you do that?" She cried. When she noticed she was close to the door she made a run for it. Oscar trailed behind her. When she reached the door Oscar ran up and pinned her to the door with his body. Candice shuttered. Oscar moved a loc of her flat ironed hair behind her ear. He looked at her grabbing her chin. "I told you, you'll never be able to escape me." **** Candice Brown is finally a senior in high school and one step closer to freedom; however, between looking after her younger brother Latrell, mother, and avoiding her ex con boyfriend Candice seems to be peddling in an upstream. In order to follow her dreams she must let go of the past and pursue her future. None of the On My Block characters belong to me. Only my original characters and ideas are mine.
