Steve stared wide-eyed at the mound of ice the SHIELD Ops team had fished out of the arctic five miles north of where he was found. The thing had been defrosting for close to two hours now, and he could just make out bits and pieces of the person underneath. Not that he would ever need to see the body to know what Percy Jackson, codename Western Flame, codename Submariner, codename First Captain America, looked like. He had grown up and fought with him and Buck after all. We're onto the Winter Soldier 'Era' now! Operation save Neeks and Bucky is a go!

He was taken by Hydra and experimented on. Turned into the Winter Soldier. But during the time the Avengers were breaking apart, fighting against each other, they found out that there were more Winter soldiers. Men and women turned into super soldiers, people even stronger than Bucky, the first Winter Soldier, with power that could rival even Captain America himself. But when they later raided the base, they found every one of them dead. What they didn't know was that years ago, one of them had escaped. One Winter Soldier still alive. One Winter Soldier that could rival Captain America. One Winter Soldier with the power of the gods in his hands. And this Winter Soldier's name is Percy Jackson.

Percy Jackson looked into Natasha Romanoff's weary but determined eyes, and decided to help her. And so, he pulled a lever, spilling his class and her enemies into a tank. That was not the last she saw of him. By the time several years pass, the two green-eyed siblings by bond will be known as heroes, albeit of different worlds. Perhaps they don't know everything about each other. But they do know that they will always have each other's backs. He helps her out when her missions don't go the way they planned, which doesn't happen too often. She teaches him how to be a good spy, although that isn't the intention when they start the lessons. And they become very close, just as close as true siblings, in fact. So when Natasha finds herself in a complicated position during the Avengers' Civil War, Percy decides to interfere. And the Avengers are extremely surprised when they meet Natasha's younger brother. Plans are made and set in motion, alliances are completely misconstrued, friendships are tested and broken, and the two siblings find themselves on their own side against the world. However, there's something bigger in the works for the Avengers, and they'll need all the help they can get to face it. Including the two green-eyed siblings in everything but blood. This is largely Marvel canon compliant up until Captain America: Civil War, with Percy's interaction with Natasha being a background to the PJO books. Percy Jackson fanfiction, Son of Fury. When Percy returned from his first quest, he came home to find his mom had been murdered by Gabe. (sorry, I still love Sally!) He was taken to an orphanage but met a certain man in the park who happened to be Nick Fury. Now living together, the pair get along well. Nick suspects things about Percy. Percy goes on quests and returns after the Labyrinth with the courage to tell Nick who he really is. Years later Percy returns from the Giant War with a few emotional scars more than he expected. He couldn't save them, not any campers, not even the 7. His Wise Girl died. Nick had issues going on at work and needed Percy to be kept somewhere safe since their house was destroyed. He sends Percy to live with the Avengers in Stark Towers. With Leo missing, Nico goes looking for him and isn't found for a while. Percy struggles with his flashbacks and memories. He goes to school and ignores the Avengers. -Original 6 Avengers but Thor is going to come in later on. (And Wanda, sometimes Vision) -Let's say Peter is an Avenger-in-training. -I know the events are out of order, but it has to be for the plot to work. -Percy is almost 17 but he will be in the same year/grade at Peter during school for reasons. I've seen a few of these, so I wanted to try and write one. Summary: Percy Jackson, a twelve-year-old orphan, lives at a mental hospital, as he has for years now. He has many mental problems, including depression, insomnia, and more. Haunted by his past, his only refuge is in his studies and books, despite his ADHD and dyslexia. However, his already terrible life gets even worse once he has to go to Camp Half Blood...
