I see tears drip from his face as he relaxes back, his weight still crushing me. I turn my head and spit out some blood. The taste was getting gross. I throw my head back against the ground and pain surges through my body. That's a good thing for now. I look up at the moon still bright but it's still pitch black everywhere else.
