Kara Danvers has been put through the ringer, and she expects nothing much out of life though she does her best to look on the bright side of things. She is one of the best fighters out there, but she doesn't much appreciate being singled out as a favorite of the king. The princess though... she might not be that bad.

Lena discovers she has deep feeling for kara. But will she get the chance to tell her. Kara is protecting Lena and she gets badly hurt. What will happen next?
